Music Teacher | 970.484.1171 x250

Patricia Van Hee is delighted to join the faculty of Saint Joseph Catholic School. She is relocating from New York where she has spent most of her life studying music, theater and dance; performing professionally in musicals and concerts; and teaching voice, piano and music theater.

She began her music education at the Juilliard School of Music in New York City studying voice and piano. While in elementary school, she began doing recordings and television appearances. She then began doing musicals, her passion. Her favorite role was Maria in Westside Story.

For the past 21 years, Mrs. Van Hee was a choral and musical theater teacher in the Yonkers Public School District in New York where she also produced, directed and choreographed many musicals and concerts. She continued to sing professionally at the same time and was also a music director of a Catholic church in Yonkers playing the organ, conducting the choir and directing concerts. She continued to study voice with Shirley Love, a former Metropolitan Opera soloist.

Mrs. Van Hee has a master’s in music education and wishes to continue to study music to give her students the best music education.
