Mrs. Grigsby has been teaching full-day kindergarten at Saint Joseph Catholic School for the past 25 years.
She has a degree in elementary education from the University of San Diego and a master’s in curriculum and instruction from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California. She attained her professional teaching license from the State of Colorado, and in 2013 she was honored as one of 13 recipients of the NCEA Distinguished Teacher of the Year Award.
Mrs. Grigsby loves teaching kindergarteners because every day she is privileged to witness her young students’ love of learning and their excitement about the world God has made for them. She and her husband David have been married for 35 years. They have lived in Fort Collins for 28 years and have been parishioners of Saint Joseph Parish since 1997. Their four children are all graduates of Saint Joseph Catholic School.
Mrs. Grigsby enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends, especially at the family cabin on the coast near Carmel, California.
