Mrs. Wade is thrilled to join the staff at Saint Joseph Catholic School! She has been part of the Saint Joseph community since 2009, when her oldest child began pre-kindergarten during the inaugural year of the preschool program. Over the years, Mrs. Wade has served the school in a variety of volunteer roles and is very well known and cherished by our community for her dedication and spirit. A lifelong Catholic, she attended Catholic elementary and high school in Sioux City, Iowa, and she currently has one child enrolled at Saint Joseph and three who are proud alumni.
Mrs. Wade earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University before moving to Fort Collins to work for Hewlett-Packard. There, she met her husband, Alan. They married in 1999, and she worked at HP for over eight years before deciding to stay home to raise their children. As a graduate of the Prayer Companioning Program at the Lanteri Center for Ignatian Spirituality in Denver, Mrs. Wade has been offering spiritual direction since 2013.
She and her husband are blessed with four children—Grace, Joseph, Marilyn, and James. James joined their family as a newborn, adopted at just three days old from the hospital.
In addition to her work at Saint Joseph, Mrs. Wade owns a business called Assembly Required LLC, which offers craft kits designed to help individuals navigate life’s transitions, including miscarriage, grief, pregnancy, and children leaving home. She also sings with the Larimer Chorale, is an active parishioner at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, and holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo—along with her husband and three of their children. (James is still in training!)
In her free time, Mrs. Wade enjoys baking, singing, taking walks and hikes, and working on a variety of arts and crafts.
