Originally from Lima, Peru, Mrs. Carlyon has degrees in food service management and hotel-tourism management as well as a certificate in culinary arts. Since 2011, she has been preparing nutritious and delicious meals for the students at Saint Joseph’s. She believes in the importance of following Christ’s command to Saint Peter: “Feed my lambs.” (John 21:15).
Mrs. Carlyon is married to Dr. Jonathan Carlyon, a professor at Colorado State University, and they have two daughters. In her free time she enjoys cooking with friends, discovering new recipes from around the world, and sharing with others the culinary treasures of her native land.
