Music and Choir | (970) 484-1171 x250

Mrs. Paquette was born in Greeley and moved to Flagstaff, Arizona in 2016 to pursue a
master’s degree in Suzuki Pedagogy at NAU. Rachel has taught Suzuki violin privately and general music
in the classroom for many years to students of all ages. Her biggest teaching philosophy is that every
student can achieve their goals no matter their age with hard work and encouragement!

Mrs. Paquette received her undergraduate degree in Violin Performance from the University of
Northern Colorado. She toured with orchestras and played in chamber festivals across the
United States, Italy, Germany, England, and the Czech Republic and has played in dozens of orchestras
all over the southwest. When Rachel is not busy with her music, either performing or teaching, she
enjoys baking and practicing the skills she learned as a certified pastry chef from the Auguste Escoffier
School of Pastry Arts.
