Mrs. Guerriero is happy to be enriching her connection to Saint Joseph by joining the faculty as our language arts teacher! She has been a part of the Saint Joseph community for 3 years as a parent to Lionel, class of 2025. She values the unique educational and spiritual opportunities that Saint Joseph provides and is excited to continue to be a part of the traditions and excellence in this new role.

Mrs. Guerriero, nee Maier, grew up in Michigan and graduated from Northern Michigan University with her Bachelor’s Degree in English Writing in 2005 and her Master’s Degree in English in 2007. After graduating, she worked for Priceline Corporation as a technical writer. In 2008, she married Anthony Guerriero and they have two children, Lionel and Jonah.

In 2015, the Guerriero family left Michigan for Casper, Wyoming. While in Casper, Mrs. Guerriero discovered her love of teaching as adjunct instructor at Casper College. After the 2019- 2020 school year, she was inspired to make the move to K-12 education. In 2022, her family once again relocated, this time to Fort Collins. She has served as middle school ELA teacher in Greeley and Eaton for the past three years.

Mrs. Guerriero has volunteered as religious education teacher and bible camp assistant. She has also taught ELA for the homeschool co-op. When she isn’t teaching, she’s probably watching her boys play hockey. She enjoys crafting, reading, gardening, baking, and hiking with her family and rooting for the Detroit Tigers, Red Wings, Lions, and Pistons.
