Ms. Clavenna is “a military brat who grew up all over!” She went to Saint Mary’s High School in Colorado Springs, which is where she considers home. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Washington State University, did most of her student teaching in Washington, and spent the last semester at a DoDEA school in Germany! Additionally she has spent the last few years coaching and working with different summer camps.

Ms. Clavenna is excited to be teaching PE at Saint Joseph because it combines her love for school and faith with being active and having fun! “I can’t wait to help students find joy in movement and develop skills for an active, healthy lifestyle. At WSU they say “Once a Coug, Always a Coug”, so I’m very excited to be here with the Cougars!”

In her free time Ms. Clavenna likes hiking, skiing, playing volleyball, and spending time with friends and family.
