Mrs. Fields has been in the education field for over 25 years, working in both public and parochial schools. While most of that time has been spent as an elementary art teacher here in Fort Collins, she also worked for several years as a school librarian in Denver Public Schools. Earlier in her career, she taught a combined 1st and 2nd grade classroom at a small Lutheran school in Denver, where she had completed her student teaching.

Mrs. Fields is a Nebraska girl, born and raised. She met her husband Chris in Denver and they’ve been married over 25 years now. They have five wonderful children, ranging in age from 17-21, with two sets of twins! Mrs. Fields and her family moved to Fort Collins in 2010 and she began teaching at Olander Elementary School, where she still teaches part-time when she’s not at Saint Joseph. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
