Mrs. Selken is a Colorado native who grew up in Greeley. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation with emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and Recreation Administration. In addition, she is certified as an early childhood teacher in Colorado.

Mrs. Selken has been a valuable volunteer at Saint Joseph Catholic Church and School since 2010. She and her husband Tom have three children who have all attended Saint Joseph Catholic School. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends.

“My passion for guiding and exploring with children started while I was a volunteer in my oldest son’s kindergarten classroom,” Mrs. Selken said. “I’m excited to be in the classroom, giving back to others, and guiding children in new adventures. I love being a part of our preschool team.”
