Mr. Vogt teaches band at Saint Joseph Catholic School, Saint John the Evangelist Catholic School and Immanuel Lutheran School in Loveland. He also maintains a private woodwind teaching studio in Fort Collins. He earned a degree in music education from the University of Nebraska and has been teaching band for more than 12 years.

Mr. Vogt loves working and interacting with children because they are fun, funny, creative and enthusiastic. He appreciates that Saint Joseph Catholic School values the importance of music education in the development of children’s minds.

When not teaching, Mr. Vogt is an active freelance jazz musician and recording artist. He has appeared on many CD’s and has three released under his own name on his record label “Drew’s Blues Records.” His latest recording “Twirling Zucchini Trio” was released late in 2016.
