Carrie Sheffield

Mrs. Sheffield is happy to be a part of the Saint Joseph Catholic School community. She graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Family Studies and Human Services. After moving to Colorado in 2000, she earned her elementary teaching license from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Mrs. Sheffield grew up attending Catholic schools in Kansas City and is excited to be able to teach about God’s love every day.

She taught 4th grade for six years in Denver, Fort Collins, and Loveland. In addition, Mrs. Sheffield has taught culinary arts and is the owner and operator of Blooming Girls. She loves working with young people and sharing her belief that discovery is an important aspect of learning and that students need to be able to connect learning with personal experiences.

Mrs. Sheffield has two children who attended Saint Joseph Catholic School. When not teaching, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, as well as skiing, biking, cooking, reading, and traveling.
