Dr. Cavanagh is originally from Lamar, CO and is excited to be joining our faculty to help with academic intervention! He enjoys working at Saint Joseph Catholic School because because here, he can live the Catholic faith openly and be part of a faith community dedicated to seeking God through prayer and work.
Dr. Cavanagh earned his doctorate degree in education from Colorado State University, his master’s degree in organizational development from Regis University, his bachelor’s degree in English from Carroll College, and his associate’s degree in liberal arts from Lamar Community College. He attended Holy Cross Abbey for high school.
Previously Dr. Cavanagh did research and taught at CSU. He is the founder and director of research and professional development for the nonprofit organization Restorative Justice Education. He and his wife belong to both Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and Saint Joseph parishes. In his free time, he enjoys riding his eBike and beekeeping.
