Tony Garcia

Mr. Garcia comes to Saint Joseph Catholic School with 30 years experience as a middle school teacher and coach. Additionally, he served as a middle school athletic director for seven years. He holds two master’s degrees in education and completed his undergraduate work in occupational therapy at Colorado State University.

Mr. Garcia has lived in Fort Collins for 45 years, and his ties to Saint Joseph run deep, as his four children were all baptized in the Saint Joseph Parish. He also served as a volleyball coach and official for Saint Joseph Catholic School prior to completing his teaching certification.

Mr. Garcia has a passion for both athletics and physical education. He has experience as a baseball, golf, basketball, volleyball, and softball coach at both the middle and high school levels. When not teaching, he lives this passion by running marathons, participating in CrossFit, and hiking. Most recently, he and his wife completed the London Marathon in April.

With his wife, Joy, he enjoys traveling, spending time with their children and new granddaughter, camping, and being outside. Both of them are very excited to be a part of the Saint Joseph community.
