Miss Jenks

6th Grade Homeroom/Middle School Social Studies Teacher | 970-484-1171 x272

Miss Jenks graduated from Colorado State University with degrees in history and education. Born and raised in Kansas City, Miss Jenks attended Catholic school from ages 3-18 and is enthusiastic to continue her time in this community.

She found her calling to be a teacher through her experience working with youth, specifically her time in Cooper Landing, Alaska. Here, she was a camp counselor at CampFire AK-Kenai Lake and served children of all backgrounds, including: Type I diabetes, severe allergies and asthma, juvenile arthritis, children with deployed military parents, severe emotional disturbances, and intense behavioral needs. Through this work, she found that Christ’s youth exemplify resilience and charisma-the exact characteristics, she believes, that can change the world.
In her free time, Miss Jenks enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
Saint Joseph Catholic School will be open this fall for in-school learning, with increased health protocols and processes to protect every member of our school community. Please click here to see this important update video from Principal Blanco.
