Miss Kelly graduated from Colorado State University with degrees in history and education. Born and raised in Kansas City, Miss Kelly attended Catholic school from ages 3-18 and is enthusiastic to continue her time in this community.
She found her calling to be a teacher through her experience working with youth, specifically her time in Cooper Landing, Alaska. Here, she was a camp counselor at CampFire AK-Kenai Lake and served children of all backgrounds, including: Type I diabetes, severe allergies and asthma, juvenile arthritis, children with deployed military parents, severe emotional disturbances, and intense behavioral needs. Through this work, she found that Christ’s youth exemplify resilience and charisma-the exact characteristics, she believes, that can change the world.
In her free time, Miss Kelly enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
